This new resource for Edexcel A-Level Economics helps teachers and students respond to key feedback from recent exams which suggests that students are dropping valuable marks on Section A and also spending too long on that Section. This limits their ability to complete the entire paper (a challenge in very tight time conditions!).
Marks are being lost in Section A because student knowledge isn't sharp enough and because many students haven't revised all of the far-flung corners of the specification.
Furthermore, students are struggling to apply theory very quickly to new scenarios and data, a key feature of Section A.
In addition to helping students sharpen their skills in answering short-response questions and test their broad understanding of the whole Edexcel specification, this resource also contains plenty of practice material for the all-important quantitative skills.
Because full and detailed suggested answers are provided, students should be able to use this resource independently for revision, using self and peer assessment. It is also ideal for bite-sized revision homework and short revision tasks in class.
