Teaching Activity | Positive & Normative Statements
Last updated 26 Aug 2024
In this activity, students are shown ten statements given by the economists on screen. Their task is straightforward - to decide whether each statement is positive or normative.
Teachers can decide whether they conduct the activity in small groups or ask for volunteer answers as the task progresses.
As the activity is an editable PowerPoint file, please feel free to alter the statements if you wish.
You could even ask students to come up with some of their own statements to use in a follow-up revision session!
