Wildcard Wednesday! Using music to reinforce economic principles

Ever wanted to use more alternative media in your lessons? Earlier this morning while looking for inspiration for a fun lesson starter, I came across this brilliant website. It gives a wide range of song lyrics from Lily Allen, through to Bruce Springsteen and Ludacris, and suggests ways in which you can tie the lyrics in to fundamental economic principles, as well as providing links directly to the tracks so that you can use them directly in your lessons.

As well as being a great resource, you can contact the website managers with your own suggestions, which to me seems like a great extension activity, and one that I will suggest to my classes this week.
