Hats off to the Bank of England for producing this excellent article on pay for professional footballers. A super resource to use when teaching pay differentials in the labour market.

Here is the data for 2016 of the highest paid occupations in the UK measured by median full time gross weekly pay of the highest paid occupations in the United Kingdom (UK) as of April 2016.
