28th June 2011

I suspect a lot of teachers make use of the Rule of 72 at some point in their lessons? I bring it into play when focusing on the average growth rate required for a country’s GDP to double in size. (Divide 72 by the annual average growth rate to get the answer!). Here is a nifty blog on some of the other uses for this rule and similar ones.
