Using Manufactured Landscapes in teaching economic concepts

Edward Burtynsky’s superb documentary - available for purchase on DVD and with many video clips available online - offers rich potential for teaching many introductory micro concepts. I will be using some clips to introduce factors of production, specialisation and the division and labour and the impact of growth on the environment.
