Unit 4 Macro: A Very European Christmas

13th December 2012

Great news! A new comedy drama from Econ Films and British Writer-Director Bob Denham is now available! The short film – ‘A Very European Christmas’ – tells the story of the unhappily married Germaine and Greco. She’s German. He’s Greek. Will they and their friends make it through the season of goodwill?

The film is a sequel to ‘A Very European Break Up’, which has been watched well over 300,000 times online since its launch in late September and has featured on national TV news in Germany, Greece and the Netherlands.

‘A Very European Christmas’ takes the story a step further as the troubled lovers must celebrate Christmas with the rest of the Community at the Country Club. Among those we meet are a sensual Spaniard, a stuck-up Frenchman and a self-serving Brit. The Club also includes a Dutchman, a Belgian, a Finn, an Irishman, an Italian and a Portuguese. Casting a shadow over events is a fitness-obsessed American.
