Tragedy of the Commons - Cod stocks on course to crash

An excellent snippet that highlights the impact of climate change on sustainable fishing.
According to the latest research, the Arctic Assessment and Monitoring Programme thinks that cod stocks in the Barents Sea are on the point of collapse, a combined result of warmer seas and overfishing. It highlights the difficulty of the sustainable management of a common access resource, and how when climatic conditions changes this task is made even harder.
