The Planet's Biggest Baked Bean Factory

We simply had to cross post this from the Business Blog! A stunning three minute video following the production process of the Heinz baked bean factory in Wigan Lancashire which can supply up to 3 million cans each day.
There is an almost balletic feel to the camera work as we see the two-hour flow production process in action.
The scale and sophistication of the automated processes is eye-opening
When you see such a smooth process, does anyone still believe in diminishing returns? This is just as good example as one can find of constant marginal cost and long run economies of scale.
