The Independent Goes Digital Only
21st February 2016
I remember well reading the first ever copy of the Independent when it arrived in newsagents in October 1986 and - whilst rarely buying my own copy in recent times - I have continued to enjoy the high quality of journalism from the likes of Ben Cho, Robert Fisk, Hamish McRae and a host of excellent guest commentators. Now the Independent has become the first British newspaper to bring an end to their printed edition and move totally to online publishing.
