The Environmental Impact of the UK Fashion Industry

The fashion industry isn't terribly environmentally-friendly, accounting for 3% of global carbon emissions per year, and an awful lot of waste.
This BBC Newsnight report looks at the Commons Environmental Audit Committee report into the environmental and social impact of the industry, and the reluctance of the industry to deal with its negative externalities.
