Tenner Tycoon - enterprise competition

Ruth Tarrant

7th March 2011

I came across this competition , organised by Peter Jones of Dragons Den fame, whilst flicking through a newspaper last week. Students are loaned £10 as start-up capital, and the aim of the competition, very simply, is to use that £10 to generate as much profit as possible. There’s still a week left for students to register. The team behind the competition ask participants to also think about using any profits to benefit their local community once the competition is over. The website is also full of useful enterprise-based teaching resources.
