Description of the Job: TEACHER OF ECONOMICS/HEAD OF ECONOMICS

A dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Economics is required to join our well-resourced, committed and innovative Economics Department from September 2015. The successful candidate should be able to inspire and motivate pupils through a diverse range of learning styles, be confident to teach both years of A Level Economics and be familiar with the new A Level specifications.

This post can be tailored to suit the right applicant as a Head of Department position or a qualified teacher looking to gain further experience. The post might also suit a recent graduate new to teaching with a good degree in Economics. Practical experience gained in a career outside teaching would also be a significant advantage.

Founded in 1993, the school is co-educational and set in 25 acres of grounds with excellent facilities. A willingness to assist with a wide range of extra-curricular activities is important in this dynamic and vibrant school.
