Supply and demand in action – the half term rip off!

As I prepare to pack up my tiny 4x4 Suzuki Jimny (which I love with a passion by the way) for an epic road trip to the Alps tomorrow, I can’t help but curse the plight of teachers who are forced to pay silly prices for plane flights during half term. This article is great for explaining how simple economics is the cause of the high prices during school breaks. Yet again it all comes back to supply and demand!
