Strangest Things - Starter or plenary for lesson on global economics
10th January 2018
If you, or your students, are a fan of the Netflix sensation 'Stranger Things', you might like this resource.
Using the title music and credits as a back-drop, this 'Strangest Things' activity presents 4 strange statements for each of the UK, US, German, Chinese and Kenyan economies. However, only one of the statements is true. Your students must work out which (and attempt to banish any prejudices they may have about each country at the same time!).
'Strangest Things' is a Powerpoint resource and does require you to be able to play the soundtrack (otherwise it just wouldn't be the same!).
