Stiglitz on Falling Living Standards in the UK
24th May 2015
This interview with Joseph Stiglitz in the Guardian is largely about the United States but there is also an important section on the UK in which Stiglotz highlights the steep decline in real living standards in the UK since 2008. "GDP per capita in the UK is lower than it was before the crisis. That is not a success." For enrichment and extension revision, this article comes strongly recommended.
