Short Survey on Using Videos to Teach Economics

Geoff Riley

8th September 2015

How can video help economists communicate with a wider audience? Should videos be 5 minutes - or shorter or longer? Should they include graphics or documentary footage? The truth is, no one knows. This is the first attempt by CEPR and Econ Films to gather responses from the economics community so that we can do better than just shrug our shoulders. The results will be shared publicly in the autumn on VoxEU.org and other platforms.

So far 200 economists have given their opinions, and it takes less than five minutes. The survey runs until end of September.

Video is fast becoming the most popular way to communicate online - please help economists make the most of this trend by filling out this short survey
