Shifting Spending from Stuff to Experiences

This Guardian article highlights the fact that, increasingly, consumer are spending money on experiences and less money on, well, "stuff". This Visa Group survey tracks what has happened to consumption patterns over the past five years, with spending on restaurants and holidays. And even when we do purchase "stuff", increasingly it's online.
