A summer hat tip to the economics team at Millfield School for flagging up what looks to be a tremendous resource for students wanting to deepen their understanding of UK macro ahead of the June 2011 papers. They attended an excellent economics lecture at Exeter university a couple of weeks ago that is now available on their website. Here’s the link It was given by Professor David (Danny) Blanchflower (Ex- MPC member) on the UK economy during the banking crisis, its current economic state and its future prospects - ideal for A2 students ahead of their macro paper and for AS students now that they have completed their exams.
