Premium demand lifts whisky sales

Good news for Scottish whisky manufacturers with a rise in the value of sales, despite a fall in the number of bottles sold.
That should get you thinking about PED and YED, at the very least. In this instance, it might be more to do with the latter than the former as it appears that the composition of the export market is changing in favour of more expensive whiskies.
