Regular blog readers will know that I am a great fan of TED talks. Playing the short presentations to classes of students on all kinds of issues and with a terrifically diverse range of speakers is never a waste of time. Indeed it might even sow the seeds of a change in aspirations for students - some of the very best TED talks are remarkable teaching resources. Here is one.
