LSE Festival - Beveridge and the Welfare State
10th January 2018
There is some really, really good stuff scheduled in this festival "Rethinking Beveridge for the 21st Century"
Most of it takes place in the week 19-24 February, with a number of enticing debates for which you can apply for free tickets. But, if you are too far from London to do that, they are being podcast - which might enable schools to download them and listen in at a lunchtime or after-school meeting?
There are also two associated exhibitions being staged during this term. Both are free of charge, and for the Time for Revolution it is possible to book a tour with the exhibition curator on a weekday, 9-5.
The opening hours are Time for Revolutions: 8 Jan - 13 April, 9-7 on weekdays and 11-6 at weekends, and
Who Cares - 19 Feb - 23 March, 10-3 each day
