Is Robbie Williams price gouging on resale tickets?
11th January 2017
The issue of ticket touting has been in the news recently. However, the story here is not the fact that these tickets have appeared on secondary ticket sites but that they've been placed there by his management.
This is more of an issue of trying to influence the market in a way that might, by some, be deemed immoral. It's certainly price gouging, although why people might want to see yesterday's man is another issue.
Say what you like about the Rolling Stones, but they've a better back catalogue and they're still writing decent songs to boot. And after 2016, don't get me started: David Bowie, Prince...Mr.Williams, the most celebrated Port Vale fan, isn't in the same postcode!
