Ireland as a tax haven for multinationals

US firms book more profits in Ireland than in China, Japan, Germany, France & Mexico combined according to a new paper on the tax havens and multinational activity published by Gabriel Zucman, Assistant professor at UC Berkeley. The working paper can be found here. Students covering multinational corporations and the vexed issue of tax avoidance might be very interested in the chart in the accompanying tweet shown below.
