The UK & Global Economy in 2010 & Beyond

A Lecture by Dr Richard Reid
Cranleigh School, April 26th @ 7.30pm

Dr Richard Reid is currently Chief Economist & Director of Research at the International Centre for Financial Regulation (ICFR), a body set up to help sort out the mess created by the recent credit crisis through the provision of expert, independent research into the issues affecting financial regulation across the globe.

Previously, Dr Reid has held various senior economist positions in some of the world’s leading financial institutions, including Citigroup and UBS, both in the UK and Europe. At UBS he served as Chief European Economist, with five years at the company’s Frankfurt office.

In addition to his private sector experience, Richard has also advised HM Treasury and Civil Service Committee on international monetary affairs and is a noted commentator on Bundesbank (German Central Bank) and the ECB.

Geoff Riley FRSA has been teaching Economics for over thirty years. He has over twenty years experience as Head of Economics at leading schools. He writes extensively and is a contributor and presenter on CPD conferences in the UK and overseas.
