Infrastructure Gaps - Water Loss in Cities

Creaking infrastructure damages competitiveness and economic growth and it also leads to a deadweight loss of scarce resources such as water. An OECD report examining water usage in 48 major cities across 17 countries has found that the average level of water loss was 21 percent with Mexico City suffering a 44% water loss in 2012. Our friends at Statista have put those most affected into this handy chart.
