IMF downgrades UK growth forecast

The IMF has published a sober assessment of the near-term prospects for the UK economy despite global economic conditions continuing to strengthen.
UK economic growth is projected to remain around 1½ percent in 2018. Inflation is expected to fall gradually but real wages will fall again accentuating the squeeze on real living standards for millions of people.
