This is a fascinating clip looking at a joint China-Kazakhstan investment project with the building of the 'largest dry port' in the world, looking to attract investment and exploit the New Silk Road.
But is it a feasible investment project, given the remoteness of the town?
It seems that, without Chinese state support, there's little appetite for private sector investment.
