Iceland grows forests for first time in 1,000 years

A positive story here of the challenges and opportunities that come with a focused strategy of reforestation in Iceland. This in the week when we discovered that satellite data shows the world has lost more than one football pitch of forest every second in 2017, adding up to an area equivalent to the whole of Italy over the year.
