Growth in Baristas Drives Down Average Wages

The relentless rise of the high street barista economy is a factor causing a significant shift in the pattern of jobs in the British economy. Many higher paid jobs in manufacturing have been lost replaced by hundreds of thousands of relatively low paid work in the service sector.
