There will be many assessments of the economic record of the Coalition government in the run up to the 2015 election. Not many people read the Independent (it has a daily circulation of under 70,000 last time I checked) but this article from their Economics correspondent Ben Chu is well worth a read especially for AS macro students wanting to update their contextual knowledge.
