Four Outstanding Speaker Authors

Geoff Riley

16th May 2010

Demand for places at our Economics conference at the British Library is strong and booking details can be found here. Our four speakers have all just released their latest books - we will be treated to four talks on matters of clear contemporary significance - the Economy of China (Linda Yueh), The Plundered Planet (Paul Collier), What Works (Hamish McRae) and Losing Control (Stephen King). There will be opportunities to take away signed copies of all four books at the conference.

During lunch I am providing an informal presentation on some of the latest ideas and software that might be used in teaching economics using ICT. But this is just an optional extra! You might want to enjoy the famous British Library lunch and then spend a little while having a look inside the main British Library building itself! For those who can stay a while after the afternoon session finishes at 3.15pm we always have an open ended drinks reception offering a great chance to meet new economics colleagues.
