EU Enlargement - Data Sheet

Geoff Riley

21st January 2009

Today I am starting a short teaching module on the macroeconomics of some of the EU’s new member states. I usually introduce a sheet of macroeconomic data covering a range of indicators - growth, inflation, per capital GDP, unemployment, productivity et al as it prompts some discussion about the hetrogeneous nature of the EU and the challenges and opportunities for countries entering the single market. If colleagues might find it useful, I have made the word document available for download below.
