Economics CPD for the Summer Term in 2014

Jim Riley

16th April 2014

We’ve got a busy programme of CPD for Economics and Business Studies in the summer term and we’d be delighted if you and your colleagues were able to join us. Brief details below.

New to AS Economics (10 June) & New to A2 Economics (17 June)

Join Ruth Tarrant and Paul Bridges for these two courses which are ideal for:

  • Newly-qualified teachers about to start teaching AS or A2 economics
  • Experienced teachers of other subjects who will be teaching AS or A2 economics for the first time
  • Relatively new i.e. less than a year, teachers of AS & A2 economics
  • Teachers who maybe haven't taught AS & A2 economics for a long time!

WOW! Economics 2014

Our final four stops on the WOW! Economics 2014 tour take us to Birmingham (11/6), London (12/6), Belfast (25/6) and Manchester (27/6) for the acclaimed, resource-packed CPD course for ALL Economics teachers.

Economics Teacher National Conference 2014 (23 June 2014)

Our flagship Economics enrichment CPD event and we have a new venue which really will be something special. RBS have kindly agreed to allow us to use their stunning auditorium , right in the heart of the City of London (280 Bishopsgate) for what is always a highlight of the year. For 2014 our confirmed keynote speakers include Paul Craven, Ha Joon Chang and Gerard Lyons. Not to be missed!

TBBLE 2014

There are four dates left for business teaching colleagues to attend TBBLE 2014, packed full with dozens of new teaching & learning resources and approaches for Business courses. Our best-ever TBBLE collection is coming to Birmingham (11/6), London (12/6), Belfast (24/6) and Manchester (27/6)

and finally…The Engaged Learner 2014 (London 20 June)

Something different here for the summer term and a course that is packed full with teaching & learning ideas that can be used by AL departments. The feedback from The Engaged Learner courses we ran in Dubai and Singapore in March 204 was really encouraging and the same course is running in London on 20 June 2014. Send someone on the course and then share the resources with all your departments back at school and college!
