Economics A-Level Teacher Livestreamed CPD from tutor2u

30th September 2024
Do join the tutor2u team as we deliver free live-streamed teacher CPD for A-Level Economics tomorrow (1 October) at 6.30pm and most Tuesday evenings this term.
Click on this link to join us for our first live stream concentrating on 'Creating independent learners in economics'. Ensuring that students meet the 'Guided Learning Hours' is an ongoing challenge, and the best-performing economics students are those that work independently really well outside of class with minimal direction. In this session, we'll explore some approaches that you can use to try and foster this independence from the start of the course.
The live stream will last approximately 30 minutes and viewers are invited to ask questions to the panel via the chat window. The live stream will be recorded and made available to teachers via the tutor2u website.
Future live streams include:
- Save your Weekends! Reducing planning time.
- Supporting exam-skill development in students
- Finding and using data in the economics classroom
- Low-stakes retrieval activities in the economics classroom
- Staying up to date with economics for busy teachers
- Developing student writing skills
- Supporting AO2 (application) skills
- Important examples to include in your teaching
The team look forward to seeing you very soon!
