Development Finance - The Myth of the Chinese Debt Trap in Africa

This is an important clip to help understanding China's engagement in Africa, and one that looks to dispel the myth of the Chinese 'debt trap'.
Bloomberg's clip looks at Chinese investment in sub-Saharan Africa, but finds little evidence of the debt trap. Instead, they look at the different models of engagement: whereas the US and EU have offered aid and social safety networks, China has offered to build infrastructure. And there are no prizes for guessing which approach is more attractive.
