Demand and supply in action - 35%: The increase in the price of whole turkeys

Here’s another example of what causes the demand and/or supply curve for, in this case, turkeys to shift.

“Thanks to rising feed costs, falling stockpiles and developing-world consumers’ growing demand for meat, the price of a whole turkey has taken flight.”

Students can illustrate using demand and supply analysis what has caused the price of turkey’s to rise (PINTSWC).
