How does the UK's growth compared to the G7 countries?
Find the House of Commons Library Research Briefings: GDP International Comparisons published on 22 Oct 2024 and scroll to first table of data: GDP growth (% change in real GDP), then answer the following questions.
- Using the data in the table, compare how the UK’s economic growth compared to the USA and to the Eurozone during Q3 2023 to Q2 2024.
- Using the table and the first chart ‘G7 GDP real % change compared to pre-pandemic level’, assess how UK growth has compared to other G7 countries.
