Coronavirus: Pandemic triggers sharp rise in price of medication

Classic demand and supply in some regards, as a shortage of raw materials drives up the price of painkillers.
However, in the present environment, the pharmaceutical firms need to be careful not to be seen as profiteering and thus offending social norms. Higher prices can easily hit those families least able to afford it.
