Coronavirus risk - game theory meets the tragedy of the commons

My article for the day is from Tom Chivers writing on the UnHerd blog.
This is terrific stuff if you have thought about the collective action problems revealed by long queues at supermarkets, the distinct shortage of toilet rolls, and crowded parks, mountains and beaches last weekend. Game theory in the form of the Prisoners Dilemma is woven into the narrative, so too the class problem of the Tragedy of the Commons.
