Chinese Lessons

I was delighted to read this blog entry from Diane Coyle over at Enlightenment Economics - Chinese Lessons - the final paragraph is powerful and absolutely spot on regarding the teaching of economics at university. “University teachers out there, please, please don’t beat the interest and enthusiasm out of these budding economists when they get into your hands in a year’s time! BTW if you are keen to follow balanced and perceptive reviews of so many of the fast flow of new economics books that are reaching the bookshelves these days, then there is no better blog to follow than Diane’s - a great resource for teachers wanting to deepen their understanding of what is new in the bookshops.
