China is beginning to spend its cash

Just started FDI with year 13 and came across this graphic in the Economist illustrating Britain’s declining share of world FDI and global importance (“FDI flows tend to go hand in hand with economic clout”) and further evidence, if any was required, of China’s growing significance.

Also, here’s a great interactive guide that looks at various economic indicators for all regions in the US. Very useful to illustrate the inverse correlation between growth rates and unemployment.
