Characteristics of the 21st-century student

Back in the day, effective study required access to a textbook, a willingness to visit the library and class talks. Some of my students are going to be very shocked when they watch this video setting out how modern scholars harness 21st-century technologies. establishing a personal learning network using RSS readers, reading blogs and downloading podcasts is modern way.

They may also be surprised by the job description labels ascribed to the teacher. Both food for thought and a launchpad for discussion. This video is so thought provoking that I shall show it to the entire year 13 during an assembly.
