Geoff Riley

6th July 2009

Here is a super idea from Alistair Nelson at the Shrewsbury International School of Bangkok. He would like to bring together ideas from fellow blog readers to put together a comprehensive list of movies or television programmes as a resource list for colleagues and to give students some ideas of films to watch this summer and autumn. Here is his initial selection, please add your own through the comment section and we will augment from day to day.

The End of the Line Tragedy of the Commons (as recommended by the blog)

An Inconvenient Truth Negative Externalities, cost of growth, opportunity cost

A Beautiful Mind Game Theory

Michael Moore - Sicko Public and Merit Goods, Government Failure, Cost Benefit Analysis, Allocative Efficiency
