Banerjee, Duflo and Kremer win the 2019 Economics Nobel
14th October 2019
We are delighted that the 2019 Nobel Prize in Economics has been jointly awarded to Esther Duflo (only the second female recipient) along with Michael Kremer and Abhijit Banerjee for their ground-breaking work in development economics and extreme poverty reduction.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students to do some active research into their contribution to the subject. We've put together some reactions on social media together with other resources might be handy when looking at their work in lessons.
