Australian wine cheaper than bottled water

The monopsony power of duopolistic retailers, a confusing tax regime, the lingering effects of a very strong currency against the US dollar and and boom in domestic production. These are just some of the causal factors why Australian consumers might just be able to get a bottle of their favourite wine for a lower price than an equivalent bottle of water.
