AQA AS Economics: Worked Answers for May 2014

AQA ECON1 & ECON2 Worked Answers is designed to support students as they refine their exam technique ahead of the final AQA AS Economics examinations for this specification in May 2015.

This resource covers the ECON1 and ECON2 papers sat in May 2014.

For each paper we have asked an experienced AQA Economics teacher to write what he/she would consider to be a "good" answer to each and every question on the paper, aiming for an A grade but writing realistic answers that a well-prepared student could expect to produce under exam conditions, using good exam technique.

We have then asked an AQA examiner for that May 2014 paper to mark and annotate the exemplar answers and provide a commentary on how the worked answers were able to achieve high marks.

In doing so, we hope that this resource will help AQA AS Economics students gain a clearer understanding of what is required to do well in May 2015 and to highlight the exam techniques that can be practiced to give themselves the best opportunity to succeed.

This resource is the ideal complement to the one-day intensive exam coaching & revision workshops that we are running for AS Economics students in the run-up to the May 2015 examination sittings.
