30th July 2011

Yes- it’s true! Read on to find out more about this incredible statistic.

A fascinating statistic which I think brilliantly sums up the current crazy situation in America. Apple now have $76.4bn in ‘easily accessible assets’, whereas the US treasury only has $73.7bn in the bank (as of 27th July- so presumably it’s even less now!). This BBC article explains the story in a bit more detail and offers links to the relevant stats from the Treasury and Apple.
