An orgy of consumption on China's singles day

It is 'Singles Day' in China, 11/11, and this FT clip looks at how it's grown from a small event at Nanjing University to the world's largest orgy of consumer spending. And all of this in a country where consumption is a relatively small proportion of GDP, but where the middle-class is growing, and consumption can only grow further in future.
