All the stats you could ever want, in one website!

A fantastic website which has as its central aim to ‘index the world’s economy’

This website was presented to me at a recent conference at the Bank of England, and whilst being showing around I was cynically thinking ‘OK, sounds great, but our budget will never stretch to it’. And then I hear the words ‘and it’s all completely free’! So, needless to say, I stopped thinking about lunch and started paying attention. Although I’ve only had a brief look around, it really does look fantastic- not only does it provide graphs of key economic data, but you can adjust the graphs yourself- zoom in on specific sections, add or remove data, and even download, share, or embed the graphs. I can’t wait till I get on to teaching macroeconomics and then I can really make use of this site.
